Cancellation Policy

We understand that things can change, but we ask that you provide us with at least 48 hours’ notice for any appointment changes.

Missed appointments prevent us from scheduling another patient that could benefit from our services. We schedule individual time with each patient to allow us to deliver the quality, personal care that every patient deserves.

We do offer a text and email reminder service 5 days and 48hrs prior to your appointment, if you would like to arrange this then please ask our reception team who will be happy to set this up for you.

If you fail to attend/Late cancel a pre-booked NHS appointment on more than two occasions within 48hrs then we will have no alternative than to remove you from our NHS list.

**If you have been booked in as a new NHS patient and late cancel or fail to attend your initial appointment or treatment appointment within your first course of treatment unfortunately, we will have no alternative to remove you from our NHS list**.

You will have the option to continue your oral health care with Church Street Dental Practice on a private basis and charged our private fees. These fees can be found on our website or at reception.

*We do require a deposit for both general private dentistry and hygiene appointments; late cancellation or failure to attend a pre-booked private/practice plan appointment will either result in a charge in line with our private disclaimer alternatively, this appointment will be lost resulting in a reduction in hygiene appointment’s across the year .

**Please note cosmetic/Implant consultation fees are non -refundable**. It is our aim to telephone or write to patients after a missed appointment to understand the reason for non-attendance and to inform them about our decision about their NHS dental care.
